Ever wanted a church like Cheers where everyone knows your name. Well Arkell United Church is the place. Warm, truly friendly, gentle in its approach but filled with strong spiritual people. That’s what you’ll find. A church that aspires to live out its faith in Jesus in an open, inclusive way. We believe that being a Christian opens up ones life. A place of discovery and celebration. No pressure! No sales pitch!

Worship is done in a simple and graceful way. Our goal is to mix the best of past generations with the best of today. In music, the foundation of the church is folk and old country. Guitars and piano often lead the singing. Yet we are beginning to use more contemporary songs with a bit of an edge to them. The messages are passionate and down to earth. The prayers sincere and genuine.

We can’t offer you the most sophisticated children’s program. What we can offer you is that your child’s name and personality will be known by every adult in the congregation. A family. A safe place to grow as a spiritual person!

We have many programs at the church, the Choir, the Arkell Guitar Group, Spiritual Growth programs.

Sunday Worship is at 10:00 am with a children’s program and nursery for infants and todlers.
